HOT DIP GALVANIZING
Steel stands out as one of the most used materials in constructions of all kinds, is synonymous of quality, endurance and durability. Its application possibilities are diverse, being a flexible, economical and recyclable material. However, it is necessary to give it the correct treatment so that it fulfills its role in an optimal way.
Corrosion is the main threat that steel has, consuming economic resources, time with endless maintenance, as well as other undesirable effects, such as those derived from the temporary interruption of the production processes of some facilities, or the costs of the treatments necessary to counteract the effects of corrosion in structures that are already installed.

Degreasers are alkaline solutions or acidic degreasing agents that help remove most of the soluble oils and lubricants used when making steel parts.
Degreaser
It is used to remove rust and obtain a chemically clean surface. It is done with dilute hydrochloric acid and the time depends on the pickling and degree of oxidation of the piece and the concentration of the acid solution.
Stripping
Fluxing or treatment with salts is in charge of protecting the piece by avoiding oxidation after stripping, in addition to facilitating the adherence of zinc.
Using Flux
The pieces are immersed in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of 450º C. The result of the galvanizing is different layers of zinc-iron in different composition.
Galvanized
Once the material is cool, a finish is done to remove burrs, sharp drops, and surface adhesion. Finally, it is verified that it complies with the stipulated standard.
